RJD's Profile

RJD is in no way related to Robert Downey Junior, but is merely cool enough to share his initials. RJD is not rich enough to build a robotic suit of armor powered by repulsor rays which give him the power of flight among other things, either.

RJD is a large fan of comic books and other similar “trashish” pop cultural items, like science fiction and fantasy movies, television, and a select few novels.

He is not afraid to voice his opinion on matters both controversial and less controversial, and likes to engage in discussion about said trashish pop cultural items.

RJD attempts to put out a semi-regular series of lengthy pieces deconstructing various comic book related movies that, to say the least, are flawed. These pieces are called “If it’s broken, they won’t fix it.” He is also known to write other pieces, conduct interviews with comic book creators and write fan mail to comic books.
